Recall Details

Hazard

The product presents a risk of entrapment because the machinery guarding interlock switches do not meet the performance level of BS EN ISO 60204-1:2018, and the guard interlock can be easily bypassed, allowing the machine to run with the guard open. The machine user could then access moving parts, leading to a risk of entrapment and/or injury. The machine control system also showed no evidence of interlock switch monitoring to detect faults.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 (SMSR).
