Hazard

The product presents a serious risk of fire because it is supplied with a plug that does not conform to the dimensional requirements of BS 1363 and does not have a fuse link. A fuse is required to ensure the safe operation of the product under fault conditions. Should a fault occur, the plug may overheat and catch fire. The adaptor is also insufficiently earthed, presenting a risk of electric shock. Improvements are also required to the product labelling and documentation.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016, or the Plugs & Sockets etc (Safety) Regulations 1994.
