Hazard
The product presents a risk of fire as the plug’s fuse does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1362. A compliant, correctly rated fuse is required to ensure the safe operation of the product under fault conditions. Should a fault occur, the plug may overheat and catch fire.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets etc (Safety) Regulations 1994.
