Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of fire as the charger’s plug features a fuse link that is incorrectly rated. A compliant, correctly rated fuse is required to ensure the safe operation of the product under fault conditions. Without a fuse, the product may overheat and catch fire. Additionally, there is no evidence that the product has been assessed using relevant UK conformity assessment procedures as a valid Declaration of Conformity was not supplied. In the absence of evidence to demonstrate the conformity of the product, it may be possible for it to overheat and catch fire.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
