The product presents a serious risk of injuries because the rung pitch exceeds the maximum of 3000mm, allowing greater distances between rungs than permitted. The locking mechanisms are also unclear, making it difficult for users to determine whether the ladder is securely locked before use. The ladder can collapse under use if it is not fully locked, creating a risk of falls and trapping injuries. The product was also supplied without the required stabiliser bar for a ladder of this height, reducing its stability during use.
The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
