Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the power supply adapter does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363. There is insufficient creepage and clearance distance between the primary and secondary circuits. Over time, the insulation can wear down and expose live wires, which may result in the user receiving an electric shock. There is also no fusible resistor in the adapter plug and improvements are required to marking, labelling and documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
